Full Moon Cross Country & Snowshoe

Cross country ski or snowshoe by the light of the full moon. Plan a fun family experience or a unique date night exploring our amazing wooded trails. This is an unguided event so you are free to roam the trails at your leisure. Headlamps are recommended and are available to rent.

Moonlight Snowshoe Hike

Here are the descriptions of the different levels of hikes. Please read them and choose which one you want to participate in. Please note the age limits when selecting. Beginning snowshoe hike. This hike will be on the golf course. You will leave the Visitor Center and walk along the groomed trail for one half hour and then turn around and come back. The Utah Nordic Alliance’s Wasatch Citizens Series (WCS) ski races have been Utah’s premier nordic skiing events since 1979. The WCS consists of five events held each year at the major cross country ski areas along the Wasatch Front and Back. Two classic technique and three free technique races are included to provide the balance local athletes need to prepare for national and international competition.

Full Moon at the Farm

This event includes a delicious dinner by Dalton Campbell and Will Baxter Band for your listening and dancing pleasure. The evening ends with a full moon snowshoe tour for both beginners and intermediate/advanced, all for $30 per person. Transportation provided from the PC MARC. Snowshoes provided as needed courtesy of White Pine Touring. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., music until 8:00 then it's out the door to snowshoe.

Nordic Center Night Owling

Weekly on the same day until February 21, 2020

Experience the solitude of a Mount Timpanogos winter landscape on a professionally guided snowshoe tour presented by the Great Basin Wildlife Rescue. Wildlife experts will use live owls, teaching about wildlife in winter then the group will head out on the trail to call and locate owls in the area. Although Night Owling is a fun family event, it is not recommended for small children due to environmental conditions.
