Moonlight Snowshoe Hike

Here are the descriptions of the different levels of hikes. Please read them and choose which one you want to participate in. Please note the age limits when selecting.
Beginning snowshoe hike. This hike will be on the golf course. You will leave the Visitor Center and walk along the groomed trail for one half hour and then turn around and come back. No elevation change and easy trail to follow.
Beginning- Intermediate snowshoe hike will be at the Pine Creek trailhead inside the campground area up Pine Canyon Road. You will check in at the VC and head up to the campground after announcements. The elevation change is about 600 feet and the trail is more of a challenge than the Golf course trail. You will snowshoe out for one half hour and come back. Meet back at the Visitor Center for refreshments.
Intermediate. Hike will be the Spring Pond Loop, but by Huber Grove Trail and up. This hike is a more gradual elevation change and easier on younger adults. You will leave at the Visitor Center and cross the road to connect to the trail system. You will be out for about an hour and a half. Age limit is 13 and above
Intermediate/Advanced Hike will be the Spring Pond Loop via Epperson. This is more challenging than the Pine Creek hike, with an elevation change of 600 feet and some switchbacks and uphill climb. You will leave at the Visitor Center and cross the road to connect to the trail system. You will be out for about an hour and a half. Age limit is 13 and above.
Advanced snowshoe hike will be the Spring Pond loop to one of the connecting upper trails for a good challenge with elevation change of 1000 feet. This hike is very challenging and not for children under 18. Please be prepared for this snowshoe hike. You will be out for about an hour and a half.
